New office in Grenoble |

EXTENDE inaugurates a second site in France by opening a facility in Grenoble on July 15th, 2013.
Located in the Buro'Club business center, this satellite office starts with two members of the team: Anouar Kalai and Fabrice Foucher.
This second site will allow us to be closer to our clients located in the South-East of France.

Dr. Elena Jasiuniene, from Kaunas University of Technology agreed to answer our questions. She works at the Ultrasound Institute which represents the majority of ultrasonic research groups at Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania.
The ultrasound research in Kaunas University of Technology has more than 50 years of activity.
Ultrasound research activities were initiated by prof. Baršauskas in 1960 by founding the Ultrasound Laboratory.
The Institute has two laboratories: Laboratory of Measurement Techniques and Sonar Laboratory.
Full-time academic and research staff of 17 employees includes 15 scientists (1 doctor habilitatus and 11 doctors).Click here to read her interview. |

SIMPOSIUM, a success story |

We already presented you SIMPOSIUM, it is a Research and Development project of an interoperable platform including various simulation tools, making possible the virtual testing of complex components (shape and structure). This year, SIMPOSIUM project has been elected as a “success story” and presented at a FoF workshop in Geneva from the 12th to the 14th of June 2013. |

Tip: Handling drag and drop |

Once you have performed different simulations, you may need to display them side by side for comparison purposes. To do so, open a new analysis page.
Then click on the first result. The scan explorer displays the available images. The green circle stands for an image already displayed in an analysis page, the red square for a not displayed image.
Drag and drop the useful scans into the new analysis page.
Now click on another result, you can drag and drop other images. A grey rectangle stands for the future positioning of the dragged image in the page.
