| TraiNDE RT v1.2 is now available | ||
|
A "PC version" is introduced with this new release of the RT training simulator, in addition to the Virtual Reality (VR) one. It provides a second way to use the simulator, without having to go through VR. This version also integrates new exercises, and the possibility to put several IQIs on the same component. Even more reasons to practice more, anywhere, easily, and to get better prepared for RT certifications thanks to TraiNDE RT! More information is available in our blog article. |

As you have probably heard, a new Data Science module came out in the latest release of CIVA 2023. This new module brings together CIVA parametric simulations, CIVA Analysis, and data management tools to build relevant dataset, then design and validate Machine-Learning-based diagnostic models in an NDE environment. A complete RT calculation requires the consideration of direct and scattered radiation. As a reminder, in CIVA, the calculation of scattered radiation is performed via a Monte-Carlo calculation for which the user must define a number of photons to model.
