VOD of the webinar on CIVA Data Science

		Real use of "AI" in NDE suffers from the difficulty of getting sufficient and relevant data to train algorithms. Simulation can help by efficiently providing massive and relevant data sets. On June 15^th, we held a webinar on the new Data Science module in CIVA, that allows you to bring together simulations, real data, and data management tools to design and validate Machine-Learning-based diagnostic models in an NDE environment. The replay of this webinar is now available on our YouTube Channel.

Reliability in NDE training course

Since the end of the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, attendance to our "live" training sessions has been on the rise, and it is delightful to see so many wonderful people in person again!

Besides inter-company and dedicated training sessions on classical CIVA simulation tools (UT, ET, RT, GWT, etc.), EXTENDE also provides more specific courses. Let's mention the most recent sessions organized in our head office in Massy:

Reliability in NDE: This session covers the fundamentals of POD, sensitivity analysis methodologies for NDE, MAPOD, standards dealing with reliability, etc.
CIVA Data Science: Introduction to this new module aiming at using modelling for machine-learning-based defect detection and classification tools
CIVA AUT Pipeline: A new module to support girth welds AUT inspection performance demonstration

The next Reliability in NDE session will take place from October 10^th to 12^th.

Presentation on training simulators at NDT in Canada

		The EXTENDE team participated in several international NDT conferences throughout June and July, namely: NDT In Canada, Les journées COFREND, and ECNDT. It was a pleasure to meet you there and to share about your projects and our recent innovations! These events involved presentations on different topics.
